Léopold Pierre Antoine Savine
Léopold Pierre Antoine Savine was a French sculptor, born on March 6, 1861, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, where he also passed away on October 7, 1934.
A student of Jean-Antoine Injalbert at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, Savine made his debut at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1888.
He created numerous statuettes and busts, often depicting decorative female figures in the Art Nouveau style.
In 1900, he was awarded a bronze medal at the Paris Exposition Universelle (World’s Fair).
